'picTeur' - 2 Versions
There are two versions of the Digital Camera Lens Guard and Use Extender,
trade name 'picTeur'. The two versions differ only in the construction of the
camera mount assemblies. Each type of assembly is adapted to specific
digital camera models. Camera construction determines which model to use.
Slip Type Model - Near Right Photograph
The slip type model is used when there is not
enough base space surrounding the camera
barrel. The mounting ring is glued to the camera
using the ring's thickness. The mounting ring is
equipped with a mounting screw that tightens onto
the flange that connects the mounting assembly to
the main housing assembly.
Screw Type Model - Far Right Photograph
The screw type model is used when there is enough
base space surrounding the camera barrel. A
modified adapter ring is attached to the camera
circumferentially concentric with the camera barrel.
The camera mount assembly is then screwed onto
the adapter ring. The open end of the barrel track on
the camera mount assembly is inserted into the main
housing assembly.
